Not more.
Better.

There was a moment when everything changed.
Losing my best friend, my dear dog Rölli - made me realize how attached I was to a life that no longer felt like mine. At the same time, I noticed something else: I felt more like myself abroad than I ever did at home.
So I left.
I walked away from a life that looked good on paper - a beautiful home, a new car, a relationship, a stable income and the identity I had built over time. In exchange, I chose uncertainty, freedom and the chance to grow into something more honest.
Not just to travel, but to reset everything.

Different way of living

After years of shorter trips across Europe and Asia, 2025 became the turning point.

This time, I didn’t go for a visit. I went to build a new way of living.

Slower mornings replaced constant rushing. Curiosity replaced routine.
Balance replaced burnout.

Somewhere between palm trees, music, coffee and quiet mornings, I found something I didn’t know I was missing -
a sense of being exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Food

Food is the fastest way to understand a place.

Not just what’s on the plate, but everything around it, the people, the energy, the setting.

My background as a chef, bartender and restaurant journalist shaped the way I experience food today. But what matters most is not technical perfection.

It’s whether something actually feels worth it.

I look for places with character, honest flavors, culture and atmosphere that can’t be faked.

I don’t follow trends.
I follow feeling.

Travel

I don’t travel just to see more, I travel to feel more.

Instead of rushing from place to place, I take time to understand where I am.

I get lost on purpose.
I talk to locals without sharing a language.
I follow moments instead of plans.

Because the best experiences are rarely the ones you can Google.

What I share is not a checklist — it’s a point of view.
